Yes! Kiddo Wallet's basic features are completely free. The free plan includes 1 wallet and up to 20 custom tasks, which is plenty for most families. If you need to manage multiple children's wallets or unlimited tasks, you can upgrade to the Family plan.

Do I need to put real money into Kiddo Wallet?

No! Kiddo Wallet is just a tracking tool to record what your child has "earned." You don't need to deposit any real money. When your child wants to redeem, simply give them the actual allowance based on the records.

Why do the amounts seem so large?

The amounts are completely customizable! The default amounts are just suggestions. You can adjust each task's reward in the settings or change the default amount. Some families set 1 per task, others set 10—it entirely depends on your parenting style and family situation.

Won't giving kids money awareness be bad for them?
